Herbert Schneider, DDS

Herbert Schneider DDS is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania, School of Dentistry, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. At school, he was an active member and officer of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, where he is still involved and has served all these years in the local chapter as president, vice president, secretary. Upon graduation, Dr. Schneider completed a year of internship in dentistry at Jewish

Memorial Hospital in New York, after which he served two years in the United States Navy as a Dental Officer. Following an honorable discharge, Dr. Schneider opened a dental practice in Sherman Oaks and Encino, where he has practiced for over forty years.

From 1972-75, Herbert Schneider, DDS was an instructor at USC School of Dentistry, where he received the Advancement of the Dental Profession Award through his contribution as a Dental Educator. He has been a member of the American Dental Association, the California State Dental Association and the San Fernando Valley Dental Association for over forty years.

Dr. Schneider was a founder and board member of a successful Dental Maintenance organization and still provides dental services to its members. He continues to perform all facets of general dentistry, with an emphasis on cosmetic and implant treatments. He has been involved in implant dentistry for almost twenty years, and has seen the changes in technology evolve to the point where implants are now much more predictable, simpler to perform and much longer lasting.
